Former Formula 1 driver Ralf Schumacher and premium Slovenian campervan manufacturer Robeta have joined forces to create a new limited-edition luxury vehicle: the Schumacher Edition. Recently unveiled at the world’s largest caravanning trade fair in Düsseldorf, it attracted significant attention from both media and vanlife enthusiasts worldwide.
We are proud that our Nereide 2 control panel, the second generation of the Simarine system, equips this 5-ton Sprinter valued at €279,000.
During the collaboration, Robeta clearly defined the direction they wanted to take with this exclusive model:
“The interior and exterior design of this new model must represent the absolute pinnacle of luxury yacht technology, with a revolutionary electronic system.”
And that’s exactly what they achieved. The result is an outstanding product in every respect.
The campervan is based on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter S 190 hp, a sporty and imposing 7-meter vehicle equipped with all Mercedes driver assistance systems and enhanced with an additional solar power system.
An interior that takes your breath away
The Schumacher Edition is not only a technical masterpiece, but also a statement of uncompromising elegance and class. The interior, meticulously crafted with premium materials, feels more like a luxury yacht than a conventional campervan.
The kitchen is dominated by black Kerrock, a material as elegant as marble yet remarkably lightweight. Warm wood finishes, glossy white fabrics, and a light reflective floor create striking contrasts and a refined atmosphere.
The kitchen area is fully equipped with an induction cooktop, refrigerator with separate freezer, microwave oven, and even a dishwasher. And as a true wine connoisseur, Ralf Schumacher couldn’t go without a visible glass wine cabinet.
All the comfort of home in just a few square meters
The bathroom, located at the rear, features a glass shower cabin, a glossy black sink, and a large backlit mirror.
The bed is concealed in the ceiling and can be lowered at the push of a button. The reflective rear wall visually expands the space, creating a sense of depth and elegance.
With the Schumacher Edition, Robeta has truly surpassed itself. A flawless project from every perspective.
